Accountant

Essential Functions

  • Prepare periodic financial statements, in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS for each entity
  • Posting/reviewing all journal entries and preparing monthly trial balance reports
  • Work closely with administrator on the monthly close process, including performing reviews and preparing reconciliations
  • Reconciling bank accounts, prepare wire transfers
  • Assist with the annual external audit, tax and regulatory filings for all entities
  • Assist in preparing capital calls and distribution notices
  • Perform intercompany accounts receivable and payable duties, including expense reports
  • Interacting with stakeholders and providing information as needed
  • Other ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/College Diploma - Accounting preferred

Professional Designation:

  • Enrollment in CPA program required

Work Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, sumif functions, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
  • Strong problem solver with a willingness to learn and take on challenges
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines & complete projects
