Commission Administrator

Mandeville Operations Management Inc.


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Semi-Monthly Commission Pay, including:
    • Process advisor semi-monthly expense report
    • Process advisor semi-monthly commission pay report
    • Process advisor semi-monthly referral fee report
    • create advisor semi-monthly pay
    • Maintenance of advisor records.

  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Processing, including:
    • Process rebates, funding requests, cooperative marketing practices, general trading fee
    • Prepare weekly commission income & expense journal entries
    • Prepare various advisors monthly expenses
    • Prepare various quarterly / yearly payment and charges from advisors
    • Prepare and distribute daily reconciliations
    • Assist in annual audits
    • Promptly investigate and resolve routine issues concerning commissions, including advisor inquiries
    • Assist in preparation and distribution of tax documents
    • Participate in special projects, including managing projects, and perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree/College Diploma required

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting and /or payroll function (Preferably in the securities industry)
  • Working knowledge of compliance issues involving documentation and authorization.
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills required, familiarity with Dataphile & Great Plain desired
  • Excellent French communication skills would be desired.
